New Running Dog (aka Freaky Dog) said she could pose for the after-run photo, but wasn't quite up to the actual running yet as it might involve twigs, grass, people, leaves, wind, rain and Other Scary Stuff. So I went and found mud by myself... so good to have it squishing between my toes again!
It seems the Melodeon Master read the blog last week so my plans to gain an unassailable lead in the Sporting Challenge has sort of gone out of the window... Not sure yet what our first 'challenge' will be - skating perhaps? Or go-karting? Something I can win, obviously...
And my New Year's resolutions? Going well (for a change!). I've trained 4 times this week, I've drunk less (well, ok, apart from last night, fab dinner with Fit Mark and the Lovely Louise), but I haven't entered anything. Wee Gill and I discussed doing the lovely Scottish run again - we found the web site for Craufurdland Castle and then look what else we found:
Yep, that's me.
Just proving that I can do poise.
