Dog on a bicycle...

First of all, two smashing pictures from Peachy Snaps at the Classic MudRunner last week:

Can I just say here (Are you listening, RideLondon?) their photos are always lovely and you can buy just one photo for £3.  At RideLondon the photos weren't great and the STARTING price was £36.  Needless to say, I didn't bother...

This week I have got cracking on the training, after being inspired at the Classic.  On Tuesday I took Happy Running Dog out on my mountain bike.  Obviously I was the one on the bike, and I only nearly ran her over once.

She's incredibly fast - me going flat out downhill still doesn't keep up with her...  45 minutes of flat-out running round the local forestry tracks and then guess what?  She was ready to go again.  I wish I had half her energy.  And a tenth of her speed...

On Friday morning I was going out for a nice gentle 6k run with Happy Running Dog.  Just as I had (at last) got my trainers on, my afternoon client phoned to ask if we could change the day around - no problem, but my run turned into a 3k sprint instead (yes, Fit Mark - 'sprint' is a relevant term).  I haven't run so fast in ages - I'm sure it will help my fitness.

Won't it?
