As you might have gathered by the heading, there hasn't been a lot of training. Well, none at all, actually. However, there has been a lot of Physical Activity. As in scrubbing algae off sheds (45 square metres of wood using only a limitless supply of kitchen scourers and several ladders), digging out old flowerbeds, planting up pots, mowing grass, staining sheds, replacing battens, cleaning out the outside loo, moving the woodpile, dog training, tree trimming, shopping, hand-washing a ridiculous number of pairs of linen trousers and chocolate cake making.
The sheds have taken over 9 hours to scrub, repair and paint. The woodstain slops a bit and I'm not the tidiest painter, but two sheds are now finished, and there's only one left to do. Oh, and that's 'sheds' as in one 8' x 12' normal shed, and one 24' x 14' pool shed. It's a lot of shed.
All of which didn't leave a lot of energy for anything, um, energetic. I'll start again soon, really I will.
And the weather has been gorgeous! Which means I am a lovely shade of brown.
Although that could be the Jacobean Walnut woodstain...
