IceBreaker, one week on...

By Tuesday I am totally recovered and want to do it all over again.  Yes!

By Wednesday I realise that on Tuesday my body was just kidding and that I am actually completely knackered.  So I concentrate on something I can do without too much effort - looking at the posh photos.

I find a nice one of me and Warren (him of the 'Too Old For This' T shirt) in the woods:

There's a lovely one of me and Sarah (her of the road bike and no brakes) looking relieved at the finish:

And there's an action shot of me actually riding my bike:

I am also fairly chuffed with this one which shows how DEEP the mud was...

Until I find this one of Fit Mark, in the same muddy gully, showing how to do it properly.

It is now my mission in life to find a deep puddle to cycle into at speed to recreate that splash - it's brilliant!

And today I felt fit enough to go back out, so put on my (now cleaned) running gear, grabbed Freaky Running Dog (new name, very suitable) and headed out.  Rubbish photo, but it's very hard to get her large black nose into shot and I was keen to get the background in too.

Yep, we made it to Machen Mast.

As you do just a week after IceBreaker.
