Shoppery...

Today was shopping day. And it all looked horribly expensive until Guy discovered the art of bartering (gaining a bargain price on a leather coat, two free coffees and a waistcoat chucked in for nothing) and I found the Italian equivalent of H&M where I bought two remarkably funky wool dresses for a knock down price…

We missed lunch completely, not even having our ice-cream, and then had an authentic Tuscan dinner complete with local wine at a local enoteca with local Tuscan meats (me) and cheeses (Guy) to the unmistakable strains of ‘Save Your Kisses for Me’ by Brotherhood of Man…

Relaxing now in front of the telly – there’s really nothing like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in Italian. With Harrison Ford sounding oddly effeminate and Sean Connery talking very fast…

And the good news on the fitness front is that we're doing so much walking (and skipping lunch on a daily basis) that my trousers are falling off and my calves have stopped hurting... maybe getting back to Mud Running fitness won't be so bad after all!
